Darren as PinheadMy first love before the balloon bug bit me was making Halloween costumes. I wanted to become a special effects make up artist for the movies, but only made it to the amateur level for myself and my family. My youngest brother Darren, wanted to be Pinhead from Hellraiser for Halloween quite a few years back. I painted liquid latex (the same stuff balloons are made of) over cotton balls, added the biggest pins I could find, and than painted the mask. I also sewed the costume and carved the cube out of a 4x4x4 block of wood. |
